The top of the slippers dips low in the front, and the heel sits a bit low on the back of the foot. It felt strange at first, but they loosened up and feel comfortable now.I normally wear a size 8, but someone suggested sizing up to a US large (9–10) because they run small. I’m glad I did—my toes were right at the end of the slipper at first. They’ve softened with wear and are now just slightly roomy, but I’m still happy I sized up.They’re warm without being too hot, and the rubber sole is nice if you need to step outside

I am size 7.5 to 8. These are called Medium 7-8. Too tight. Tried on large, 8-9, in store …too big.Slipper was nice but fit was not good.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted a slipper that was easy to slip on, had a sole I could walk to my mailbox in and would retain it’s shape after washing (washable). 5 stars in each category. These are the most comfortable and cozy slippers ever. I paid over $100 for slippers that weren’t as comfortable and practical as these. I loved them so much I ordered a second pair in black to wear under my dress pants when I’m entertaining at home! The value for the price is phenomenal!

I’ve bought this same pair before but the larger size and they were too big. They lasted forver and were still in great shape, but I finally broke down and bought this size. I’m normally a size 9 US.These were a bit snug at first but some previous reviews said they loosened up slighty so I kept them.I’m so glad I kept them! They loosened slightly. I wear them daily and wash regularly. Soles are great and the Memory foam make them soooo comfy.

I’ve owned several pairs of Dearfoams slippers, and I never had this much trouble trying (and failing) to find a size that fits me. I’m a pretty consistent size 8.5, regular width. This puts me in between their sizes, but size Large (9-10) usually fits okay if I wear them with socks. When I ordered these in large, they were ridiculously large (even with socks) and so loose on the sides that they felt like a wide width. I figured maybe they just run big, so I ordered the next size down (medium, size 6-8) and they were far too small/narrow, even without socks. My sister is a size 8 so I thought I’d give them to her, but she couldn’t even get them on her feet. She asked if I was sure it wasn’t a children’s size. We double checked and they were definitely adult women’s medium. I realize slippers aren’t a precise fit, but the difference between the medium and large was pretty significant. I even tried ordering a different type of Dearfoams slipper and had the same problem.Another pretty annoying “feature” is that the label/tag was attached by punching through the rubber sole. On every pair I tried. So already there’s a built-in tiny hole in a rubber sole that would otherwise be water resistant. I don’t remember my previous Dearfoam slippers ever having holes pre-punched in the soles. (Who thought that was a good idea??).So after ordering (and returning) 4 pairs of slippers, I think it’s safe to conclude that Dearfoams sizing has changed or is just inconsistent. I try to support American brands, but these aren’t even made in USA anymore, so I took a chance and ordered a different brand I hadn’t heard of before (Acorn). I was pleasantly surprised that the Acorn slippers fit great, have a pretty sturdy rubber sole (without pre-punched holes!), and the fabric is a super cute design. Hopefully they’ll hold up pretty well but we’ll see. At least they fit properly.
